Does it cost me anything to donate?

It does not cost the donor anything!

Does it cost anything to create a registry?

It does not cost anything to create a registry, but since credit card companies and online payment methods charge fees, those fees are taken out from the donations made to your registry automatically. For example, most take 2.9% + $0.30.  Also, in order to keep the Trift Platform up and running his overhead cost is subsidized from the donations as well. This is also automatically taken out from the donation amount. The total amount taken out between credit card processing fees, and Trift's fee will not be more than 10% in total, but it can be lower depending on any possible promotions running at the time.
